ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Mobilink has launched Lenovo’s A6010 & K5 Plus smartphones across Pakistan.

The launch is in line with Mobilink’s strategy of introducing affordable 3G devices in the market to speed-up the uptake of high-speed mobile internet in a bid to reach its goal of a digitally enabled Pakistan.

   

Speaking about the launch of Lenovo devices, Muhammad Ali Khan, Director  Data & Devices – Mobilink commented, “We are committed to consistently introduce the most appealing and innovative smartphones in the market in support of our digital enablement goals. For this reason, we decided to launch these two affordable Lenovo smartphones across Pakistan. Furthermore, Sharay Shams, General Manager for Smartphones, Lenovo Middle East, shared his view on the Co-Launch and commented, “We are committed to bring to Pakistan Lenovo smartphones offering brilliant performance and robust features. Many young Pakistanis rely on smartphones to enjoy movies and music on the go and they need stylish devices that are optimized for a multimedia experience at an affordable price.”

Packing the best in affordable smartphone specs, these two Lenovo devices by Mobilink look to offer three key user experiences: sound, camera and display. The Lenovo A6010 comes with a dual SIM and is fueled by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Quad core processor, which provides efficient processing without any lag and heats up. Display wise, the device has a 5 inches screen, which is incorporated with a 306 Adreno screen resolution providing for quality images. It also carries an 8 MP rear primary camera, capable of recording HD videos, and a 2 MP back camera.

Whereas the Lenovo K5 Plus is packed with features to target young consumers who need their entertainment needs fulfilled. Design-wise, it offers a pretty handy set with an all-aluminum back, and curved edges. Besides the appearance, the K5 Plus packs decent hardware under the hood to offer consumers great gaming and sound experience through a Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage (expandable via a microSD card slot), all powered through a removable Li-Ion 2,750 mAh battery. For photography enthusiasts, it supports a 13 MP rear camera with autofocus plus LED flash, and a 5 MP front-facing camera.

Apart from those hardware specifications, both Lenovo smartphones boast a quality dual speaker and Dolby Atmos technology to produce amazing sounds.

The devices will soon be available at all Mobilink Business Centers across Pakistan. The Lenovo A6010 will cost PKR 16,500, while the Lenovo K5 Plus will be available for PKR 23,500. Customers availing this opportunity will also be given 6 GB of free Jazz internet for a period of 6 months (subject to limit of 1GB per month).
