Islamabad: Cellphone facilities are banned in Islamabad. Telecom services  has been suspended in Islamabad and Rawalpindi due to Azadi March of Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf (PTI) and sit in of Tahirul Qadri (PAT)

   

Ch Nisar said nobody would be permitted to spread contempt, gore in the nation. There is probability of suspension of network access in a few parts of Islamabad for security reasons amid Azadi March and on entire day of August 14. The capital city organization had requested the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to suspend telecom services in Islamabad.

Sources revealed that, PTA had some issues in terminating all the services which will be fatal due to the collapse of  remote structure of telecom. How ever the services will be blocked in Islamabad and few remote areas for more then 24 hours.
