ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Mobile phone users in Pakistan have reached 124.24 million by November this year and Mobilink is still leading the operators charts with its total 35.67 million customers.

Mobilink, having 35,431,799 subscribers by end of October 2015 has added 2,42,088 new customers.

The five operators, providing mobile phone services in the country, have added a combined user-base of 1.64 million customers during one month.

As per latest statistics issued by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), Mobilink leads the chart with 35.67 million customers while Telenor is closing in the gap with 34.24 million subscribers.

However, after planned merger of Mobilink and Warid, Mobilink will be able to widen the lead with more than 46 million post-merger customers.

Zong has 24.05 million customers at end of Nov 2015 while Ufone stood with 19.66 million customers till the time.

With touching current subscribers base of 124.24 million mark, the tele-density in the area reached 66.7 per cent which it was 66.1 per cent by October this year.
