ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Secretary IT Shoaib Ahmad Siddiqui has again written a letter to all Federal Secretaries in which they have been asked to shift the websites of their respective ministries and attached departments to the Data Center of NTC (National Telecommunication Corporation) for Cyber Security.

The letter was written on the direction of the Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication Syed Amin Ul Haque.

   

The letter said that official websites on the private domain are exposed and vulnerable to Cyber attacks which may result in leakage of sensitive and important data.

It also asked for bringing official emails on ‘gov.pk’.

Meanwhile, during a review meeting on E-office, the Federal Minister for IT Syed Amin Ul Haque has given direction for completion of work on E-office by the National Information Technology Board (NITB).

On his direction, the Secretary IT also written a letter to all Federal Secretaries to shift the offices of their ministries and their departments on E-office for ease doing work, transparency, and better public service delivery.
