Militants blew up two polling stations in Balochistan: police

QUETTA: Militants on Thursday blew up two schools slated to serve as polling stations for May 11 polls at the village of Chattar in Naseerabad district in Balochistan, police said.

โ€œThe school buildings were designated as polling stations for the May 11 general election and we think that they were targeted for this reason,โ€ district police chief Tahir Allauddin said.

Another police officer confirmed the incident and said nobody had yet claimed responsibility.
