RIYADH, Saudi Arabia: The Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman left on a state visit to France on Wednesday where he will meet the French President Emmanuel Macron and discuss the Kingdom’s bid to host the World Expo 2030.

“Upon the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman left for the French Republic on a state visit,” the Royal Court announced in a statement.

In France, the Crown Prince will also lead the Saudi’s delegation participating in the Summit “For a New Global Financial Pact” which is scheduled to be held in Paris on June 22-23.

The Crown Prince will also participate in the Kingdom’s official reception for Riyadh’s candidacy to host Expo 2030 which is scheduled to be held in Paris on June 19.
