Middle EastPresident Zardari takes notice of Pakistani workers stranded in Saudi Arabia

ISLAMABAD: Taking note of media reports about the plight of nearly 700 Pakistani workers stranded in Saudi Arabia allegedly because of invalid visas, President Asif Ali Zardari has called for a report from the concerned authorities.

Spokesperson to the President, Senator Farhatullah Babar said the President has directed the concerned officials to investigate the matter and take appropriate measures immediately for resolving the issue and rescue the stranded workers.

Baber said the President has sought a report within three days.
