Pak-Saudi ministerial commission meets in Riyadh

RIYADH: Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have agreed to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in trade, economic and energy sectors.

The agreement reached at the two-day meeting of Joint Ministerial Commission meeting in Riyadh.

The Pakistani delegation was led by the federal minister for commerce Khurram Dastagir Khan, while the Saudi delegation was headed by the commerce minister Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabeah.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed cooperation in the fields of industries, banking, finance, manpower export, and energy.

Earlier, Engineer Khurram Dastgir Khan called on Governor Riyadh Prince Khalid Bin Bandar Al Saud and discussed matters relating to Pakistani citizens detained for not having valid document. The Governor assured that orders would be issued to deal their cases urgently.
