GAZA CITY: At least three Palestinians were reportedly injured when they were struck by a shell fired from an Israeli tank near central Gaza’s border on Friday.
A Israeli tank shell hit three farmers, who were working in fields east of El-Bureij refugee camp, causing moderate injuries to all of them, Palestinian health ministry spokesperson Ashraf al-Qudra said. The injured were taken to Shifa hospital in Gaza City, he added.
While, an Israeli army spokesperson claimed the incident was unknown to the military. Palestinians are supposed to have access to arable land in a buffer zone up to 100 meters from the border fence.
