Meesha Shafi accused Ali Zafar of sexual harassment on multiple occasions in 2018. Since then, social media was divided between the two. A horde of supporters including Humna Raza came out in favor of Shafi claiming that Zafar had assaulted them at multiple points as well. The case went to the court and then to FIA, with the final declaration coming in the favor of Zafar.
Now Meesha Shafi alongside the famous positivity blogger Humna Raza and many others have been proven guilty and are facing huge charges as compensation from the singer.
Meesha Shafi, Humna Raza & Others Proven Guilty!
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has declared Shafi and eight other known names of running a vilification campaign against the singer-actor Ali Zafar. The court has now asked to start the proceedings against these people for the crime.
As per the official challan initiated by FIA:
“During the course of investigation so far Meera Shafi alias Meesha Shafi, Iffat Omar, Maham Javaid, Leena Ghani, Haseemus Zaman, Fariha Ayub, Syed Faizan Raza, Humna Raza, and Ali Gul Pir have been found guilty in this case as per available oral and documentary evidence.
All the people have been found guilty as per the evidence available hence the court proceedings will immediately begin against them.
Was Humna Raza Pardoned?
Since Humna Raza came out on social media some time back stating that she misunderstood the interaction she had with Zafar and made grave blame on him, she apologized publicly and asked for Zafar’s forgiveness.
Keeping that in mind, the FIA interim challan stated further:
“However, the complainant recorded his statement in favor of Hamna Raza to the extent of accepting her apology, thus she is not required in the investigation furthermore.”
As mentioned, since Humna’s apology that came out publicly was publicly accepted by the Channo singer who later recorded backing the claim against her in the court as well, she is now allowed to walk free out of the case.
When Did The FIA Case Began?
Meesha made the allegations against Ali Zafar on April 19, 2018, stating that she had harassed her multiple times. Zafar leveled a case against her in November same year that she had bought the known names like Humna Raza, Fariha Ayub, and Maham Javaid to start a smear campaign against her. Many fake accounts that were created just before the allegation was made public were reported as well. Here are some of the accusations that came out against Zafar:
Since then, Shafi was called to the court multiple times but she failed to not only comply but the court but did not produce any evidence as well. Human Raza also claimed that she was inappropriately touched by Zafar when she once went to take a picture with him as a fan. This led to so many followers of her believing this truth for a great amount of time when only a few months back she apologized in public that it was just a misunderstanding.
What happens against Meesha Shafi and the other accused is yet to be seen but it was a wise move by Humna Raza to come forward and clear the air with Ali Zafar!
