Islamabad, Pakistan: Mushaal Hussein Mullick, wife of Kashmiri leader Yasin Malik has said that journalists are playing a historic role by telling the world about genocide of Kashmiri people in Indian Occupied Kashmir.

A large number of torch bearing civil society activists and senior journalists took out a rally here on Monday in Islamabad to express solidarity with Kashmiris in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Mushaal Hussein Mullick led the rally from China chowk to D chowk in which members of civil society, senior journalists, social workers and human rights activists took part.

Kashmiri leader Abdul Hameed Lone was also present in the rally.

The participants vowed that they would continue to raise their voice till Kashmiris get the right to self-determination and freedom from India.

They said the nation should stand united on the issue of Kashmir and urged the international community to take notice of the blatant human rights violations in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

It is pertinent to mention that a group of senior journalists has started journey to Line of Control to highlight brutalities Kashmiris living in Occupied Kashmir are facing.

His Royal Highnes conveyed his heartfelt acknowledgement to Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu for the participation of Pakistan Air Force contingent comprising JF-17 Block-III fighter jets alongside air and ground crew in the Bahrain International Airshow. Chief of the Air Staff expressed his gratitude for the honour of receiving the Bahrain Medal - First Class. On the sidelines of Bahrain International Airshow, Commander of Ninth Air Force (US Air Forces Central Command — AFCENT), Lieutenant General Derek France called on Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force. The Air Chief reiterated his resolve to further enhance the existing bilateral cooperation between the two strategic partners. Commander AFCENT appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in promoting regional peace and vowed to enhance cooperation in the fields of joint training, mutual exercises and military to military collaboration. In a separate meeting, Chief of the Air Staff also called on Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force.
