ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: In an advertent attempt to ward off the impending backlash from across the globe after New Delhi snubbed the Special Status of Occupied Jammu & Kashmir on August 5, the Indian media has continuously been running a propaganda campaign against Pakistan implicating it of allegedly facilitating infiltration into the Valley for terror activities.
Ironically, the Indian media had already launched the anti-Pakistan campaign before the contentious action was initiated by the Hindu hardliner government in New Delhi in the Occupied Kashmir.
Anticipating a valley-wide mass demonstration and world-wide stern denouncement, the Indian media presumably alleged that Pakistani-facilitated terrorists impersonating Kashmiris would resort to street protests and instigate fellowmen as well to turn anti-India.
Even the jingoistic Indian media developed fake characters i.e. Munna Lahori and weaved fabricated stories to vindicate their unwarranted stance.
In this regard, students of Islamabad-based Quaid-e-Azam University prepared a Research Report, revealing that how the Indian media made mockery of gross human rights violations in the Occupied Jammu & Kashmir, and how it attempted to batter the Kashmiris’ narrative of having been inflicted huge sufferings to suppress their voices.
The Research Report also unearthed that the mainstream Indian media was taken into confidence by the Indian authorities almost half a month before imposing the curfew, caging the entire Kashmir valley and abrogating Article 370.
The Report also revealed that how the Indian media continuously ran numerous falsified stories blaming Pakistan for possible infiltration into Kashmir.
Some data of the research report is hereunder for a reference.
