Islamabad, Pakistan: Central Leader of Laibbak Ya Rasool Allah Khadim Hussain Rizvi has called his followers to boycott Geo News and Jang Group of publication.

Addressing his followers at sit in (Dharna) at Faizabad intersection area of Islamabad, Central Leader of Laibbak Ya Rasool Allah Khadim Hussain Rizvi directed his followers to boycott Geo News and Jang Group of publication and do not buy daily Jang and do not see Gen News.

Claiming that Geo News is favouring infidels and un-Islamic forces, Rizvi was of the view that channel was spreading misunderstanding among people. Media in Pakistan is facing constant stress from political and religious parties and from unseen forces since long. Islamabad High Court has ordered religious group Laibbak Ya Rasool Allah to terminate its dharna but the group is defying court orders while government is reluctant to take any action against participants of sit in. Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal believes that leadership of dharna wanted to create “Model Town like situation” where 16 innocent citizens lost their lives during clash of police and a religious group June 17, 2014. Punjab government has gone to the court to stop release of Model Town incident Judicial Report because police was apparently responsible for killing citizens. The Model Town Massacre is also known as Model Town tragedy that was a violent clash between the Punjab Police and religious group known as Pakistan Awami Tehreek activists.
