Monitoring Desk: “An audio leak of a conversation between the wife of Chairman PTI Imran Khan Bushra Bibi and PTI lawyer Latif Khosa confirmed that allegations leveled by Imran Khan against state institutions for poisoning him in jail were cooked and fabricated but this fairytale went out of proportion and sisters of Imran Khan were against to highlight cooked story further and wished to take it out from the media scene”.

This was observed in a television talk show “Bakhabar” telecasted on Thursday. The participants were of the view that the audio leak has exposed the reality and now PTI followers should also accept that “allegations of giving poison to Imran Khan” was a fraudulent move of Imran Khan and his legal team that is now ruthlessly exposed.

It may be mentioned that an audio clip of a conversation between Bushra Bibi and Latif Khosa indicated that the sisters of Imran Khan were not happy with the handling of a case related to Khan’s safety in Attock jail and were of the view that allegations against jail authorities of giving poison to Imran Khan had backed fired and Bushra Bibi should not have gone too far to throw such allegations for gaining political mileage. It is pertinent to mention that in October 223, Bushra Bib filed a petition in Islamabad High Court (IHC) through Latif Khosa, expressing concerns that her husband could be poisoned in prison. She claimed tampering with her husband’s food could be detrimental to his life.

This audio leak confirmed that these allegations were baseless. Even the sisters of Imran Khan were not happy with handling a legal case by adding bunches of lies because accusing jail authorities of poisoning Imran Khan was categorically a fabricated position and this was the reason that his sisters once informed the media after they met with Imran Khan in jail that the health of their brother was excellent. They had no worries about his health condition.

In the leaked audio, Bushra Bibi informed Latif Khosa that the sisters of Imran Khan told their brother that stupid allegations like giving him poison would surely weaken his case because lawyers would not be in a position to justify such allegations.

After this audio leak, Latif Khosa while talking to journalists stated that those who leaked a private conversation between a client and a lawyer should be ashamed of their actions.

“There should be a sense of shame among those who leaked such sensitive and private conversations between a client and their legal representative,” he said.
