Former Bollywood actress Mamta Kulkarni has converted to Islam. She is living in Kenya with her Husband “Vicky Goswami” who also recently converted to Islam.

The couple got married on May 10, 2013 and some sources told that they are living in Nairobi, Kenya.

In 1997, Mamta’s husband Vicky Goswami was arrested in UAE in drug smuggling case. He was sentenced for 25 years but he was released in November 2012. Some media reports said that his sentence was reduced due to model conduct. His conversion to Islam was also one of major reason of reduction.

Goswami converted to Islam and got married with Mamta Kulkarni when he was in jail. Mamta was also managing her husband’s hotels business.

Mamta Kulkarni was termed as most bold actress of Indian film industry in 90’s. The 41-year-old actress & Model remained active in Bollywood from 1991 to 2002.

Since, 2002, she is out of screen due to her personal reasons. In last ten years, Mamta has declined lots of acting and dancing offers and now she has decided to stay away from media.

On other hand, Pakistani electronic and print media haven’t reported this news, while Indian media is showing bias report on Mamta Kulkarni marriage.
