Malaysia allowed meat and dairy products export from four Pakistani companies

Islamabad, Pakistan: Malaysian government has approved and allowed four Pakistani meat and dairy products exporting companies, to export their products to Malaysia.

According to details, the Department of Veterinary Service, Malaysia has approved exports from Engro Foods Ltd (for UHT milk products), Tata Best Food Ltd (for Frozen Deboned & Deglanded Meat of Cattle & Buffalo), Organic Meat (Pvt) Ltd Company (for Frozen Deboned & Deglanded Meat of Cattle & Buffalo) and NTP Gelatin (Pvt) Ltd (for Edible Gelatin & Pharmaceutical Gelatin).

It may be mentioned that the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) hosted visit of Inspection Mission from Malaysia in April 2015 to inspect seven Pakistani meat and dairy products manufacturing and exporting companies.

The delegation comprised two officers of Department of Islamic Development, Malaysia (JAKIM) and 2 officers from Department of Veterinary Services (DVS).

As a result of this inspection, Department of Veterinary Service, Malaysia has approved and allowed following 4 Pakistani meat and dairy products exporting companies, to export their products to Malaysia.

The above Pakistani companies will start export of meat, milk and gelatin to Malaysia due to the effort and support of TDAP.

“This is one of the big achievements of TDAP for export development of Pakistan”, said an official statement.
