RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Lieutenant General Nadeem Ahmed Anjum has been posted as the 25th Director-General of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), replacing Lt General Faiz Hameed who has now been posted as the Corps Commander Peshawar.

Prior to being posted as the new ISI Chief, Lt General Nadeem Ahmed Anjum was serving as the Corp Commander Karachi.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that Lt General Muhammad Saeed has been posted as the Corps Commander Karachi and Lt General Noman Mahmood has been posted as the President National Defence University (NDU) in Islamabad.

The ISPR said that Major General Asim Malik has been promoted as Lieutenant General and appointed as the Adjutant General at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi.

Similarly, Lt General Faiz Hameed has been posted as the Corps Commander Peshawar and Lt General Muhammad Amir has been posted as the Corps Commander Gujranwala while Lt General Asim Munir has been posted as the Quarter Master General (QMG).

Meanwhile, the outgoing DG ISI Lt General Faiz Hameed met with Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad.
