ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The outgoing Director-General of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lt General Faiz Hameed had a farewell meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Thursday.

The prime minister lauded his professional services as the director-general ISI and expressed his best wishes over his new appointment as the Peshawar Corps Commander.

   

Earlier in the morning, Lt General Faiz Hameed paid a farewell call on Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi in Islamabad.

Lt General Faiz Hameed assumed the Office of the director-general ISI on June 16, 2019 and now will serve as the Corps Commander Peshawar from November 20, 2021.

Lt General Nadeem Ahmed Anjum has been posted as the 25th director-general inter-services intelligence.
