RAWALPINDI: Two suspicious people were arrested as they were trying to enter the office of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) at Hilal Road near the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on Monday night.

The persons riding a white car tried to enter main gate of ISPR but the army men deployed there opened fire at the car when the car riders tried to escape, the security sources said.

The sources said that the army guards, foiling their attempt to escape, arrested both the riders and confiscated the car and handed the suspects to intelligence agencies for further investigation.

Big breakthrough is expected, the sources averred.
