FAISALABAD: At least four people were killed and ten others injured on Thursday in a deadly road accident near Chiniot town of Punjab.

Police and rescue officials said a speeding van collided head-on with a car on Faisalabad- Chiniot road this morning, resulting in death of four persons as ten others were wounded.

Chiniot town is 158 kilometres in the north-west from Lahore and 38 kilometres in North of Faisalabad.

Meanwhile, two people were reported killed near Qazi Ahmed town in Nawabshah district of Sindh when a passenger bus knocked down their motorbike.
