ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said on Tuesday that there would be no closure of mobile phone services on the occasion of Eid ul-Adha.

In a statement‚ the interior minister said despite security concerns he would not like to create difficulties for the general public.

Earlier, Punjab Police requested Interior Ministry to block cellular phone service in the province due to terror threats from 6am to 10pm on the first day of Eid ul-Adha.
