KARACHI/LAHORE: Rain with thunderstorm is expected in upper Punjab, Peshawar‚ Hazara divisions and Kashmir during the next 12 hours.

The Pakistan Metrological Department said rain with thunderstorm is expected at different places, including Islamabad‚ Rawalpindi‚ Gujranwala‚ Lahore, whereas hot and humid weather is likely to prevail elsewhere in the country.

Rains late on Monday turned the weather pleasant in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Mardan district and other parts.

PMD said a new monsoon spell is likely to begin in the next three to four days as the current system of rain is dying down gradually across the country.
