ISLAMABAD: Jamshed Dasti, a lawmaker in the national assembly representing Muzaffargarh, alleged on Thursday that girls are brought in the parliament lodges for mujra, adding that liquor worth Rs 35-40 million is annually supplied to the lodges.

In his address during the national assembly session on Thursday, the lawmaker said that there is always a smell of charas in the lodges.

Dasti said that he has the evidence about bringing girls and liquor to the parliament lodges which, he said, will be presented to the speaker.

The lawmaker also put forward a demand to hold screening tests of the parliamentarians.

Meanwhile, acting speaker Naeema Kishore turned off Dasti’s mic and said that he might have informed about the details in the speaker’s chamber along with the evidences supporting his claims.
