ISLAMABAD: The rally organized by Markazi Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) started from G-6/2 and culminated at Constitution Avenue.

The speakers denounced the attack on holy sites in Syria and said a joint plan of action is necessary to protect the sites that are holy for all sects of Muslims.

They said the protest demonstrations to show their sentiments against these attacks will continue. Demonstrators also presented a Memorandum to Director General Middle East Affairs at the Foreign Office.

Later the demonstrators dispersed peacefully.
