LAHORE: Over two dozen shops located in Landa Bazar in Lahore caught fire on Monday evening; no loss of life was reported as yet.

There were over 80 shops, carrying mostly shoes and clothes, in the area and when one of them caught fire, it quickly spread. The cause of the fire was not yet determined.

According to reports, the nearby residential area was also affected as the fire broke out.

Rescue efforts were underway and efforts were being made to extinguish the fire.
