PESHAWAR: Heavy downpour flooded canals in Peshawar and its adjoining areas on Friday, collapsing around one dozen houses.

Four people have been reported injured in such incidents.

Peshawar and adjoining areas continue to be pounded by heavy rain since morning. The rainwater has entered residential areas.

People have started moving to upper-lying areas.

According to reports, the rain has hampered flow of traffic on several points.
