Capital TV, a private TV channel which was aired few days back owned by former FIA deputy director general Ahmed Riaz Sheikh, was shut down in Pakistan just after  a guest on a live talk show insulted Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Kayani.

Sources in PEMRA claims on condition of anonymity that a guest on a talk show hosted by Ijaz Haider insulted the COAS and used foul language on air. The guests on the show were Marvi Sirmed and Amad Khalid. Just after that  PEMRA o decided to take the channel off air for an indefinite time period
