WorldLoC violation: NA passes resolution against Indian Army firing

ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly (NA) today passed a unanimous resolution condemning the unprovoked Indian army shelling on the Line of Control (LoC) in which one Pakistan Army Captain Sarfraz was martyred and a soldier sustained injuries.

The resolution moved by Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanvir Hussain expressed serious concerns over the continued violations of the ceasefire on the LoC by the Indian army and demanded for constructive and result-oriented peace process.

The House paid rich tributes to Captain Sarfraz and prayed for early recovery of the injured soldier.

The resolution said that the people of the country stand by the civil and military leadership to defend the territories of the country.
