RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Youth Affairs Usman Dar has said that loans of Rs 1.5 billion have so far been disbursed amongst the women under the Kamyab Jawan Program.

While addressing a ceremony in Rawalpindi on Wednesday, he said that the Kamyab Jawan Program has helped about 2,000 to become entrepreneurs.

The special assistant said that loans are being provided to the youth on subsidized rates so that they could establish their businesses and contribute to the development of the Country. He said that out of Rs 100 billion allocated for Kamyab Jawan Program, Rs 25 billion will be given to the women.

Usman Dar said that the scope of the Kamyab Jawan Program will be further expanded.
