[Lahore: 17th March 2015]:As first announced in January, leading couturier Zara Shahjahan will launch her label’s independent Spring/Summer 2015 Lawn collectionwith 18 innovative designs nationwide from21stMarch 2015.
For the label’s Spring / Summer 2015 Lawn collection, designer Zara Shahjahan has taken inspiration from a variety of patterns appearing in Asian art and culture,specifically with respect to the Indus Valley heritage. The collection also features prints that draw inspiration from florals and Oriental and Indian inspired thematic elements. The Spring / Summer 2015 collection is based in premium quality lawn and features 18 innovative designs in a fresh colour palette consisting of blues, whites, sharp pinks and crisp yellows. The 3 piece Lawn suits have been embellished with intricate machine embroidery and will be available at all Zara Shahjahan outlets in Karachi and Lahorein the range of PKR 6,495 –PKR 7,295.
Zara Shahjahan’s Spring / Summer 2015 will also be simultaneously launched in India, USA, Australia, India, UK and the Middle East through the brand’s retail partners and internationally through the brand’s new e-portal www.ZaraShahjahan.comwhich is now live. The label’s debut Lawn collection has been independently designed, produced and manufactured completely in-house at the new Zara Shahjahan production facility in Lahore.
Speaking about her debut independent Lawn collection,Zara Shahjahan said, “2015 will be a year of milestones for our brand, which commenced from the launch of our first Karachi outlet and now continues with the introduction of our label’s debut Spring / Summer 2015 Lawn collection. Each design has been constructed keeping in mind the perfect balance between aesthetics and comfort to create a statement piece. Special emphasis has been laid on developing intricate embroideries to give each print that extra oomph with an engaging colour palette of dynamic spring / summer shades.
