ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: An art competition for amateur youth is continued to attract art students and budding artists here till February 25 at Artisans’ Lounge Art gallery.

The competition on the theme of “Paint Your Imagination” is open to all with no age limit for participants and subjects are also open to explore the imagination of art students and art lovers to paint their ideas and bring innovation in the existing art techniques.

The Artisan’s Lounge displays and promotes the arts and crafts of artists and artisans from across the country providing them place to display their products and sell them directly to the collectors as well as promote their art skills.

Homemade products of Artisans and Women Entrepreneurs from across Pakistan have been put on display at the gallery while the paintings to be made in the competition will also be displayed for public viewing to acknowledge the skills of budding artists and encourage their abilities.

The best painting will be awarded a cash price and all the participants will be awarded with certificates while the painting materials are being provided by the management, the organizers said.

The participants have the choice to paint with open medium and open theme. The event is also an attempt to create awareness among the budding artists about the work of established artists and artisans.
