ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) is holding the two weeks first ever “Cartoon Workshop” at its Premises in Islamabad from February 12-21, 2019.
The “Cartoon Workshop” is being conducted by Shujaat Ali, one of pioneers of animated political cartoon.
Meanwhile, the registration process (registration fee Rs 1000) to participate in the Workshop continues, and it would end on February 08.
Shujaat Ali is well known and most modern political/editorial cartoonist among his contemporary practitioners, both domestically in Pakistan and abroad.
Shujaat has received recognition and awards as best editorial cartoonist from the beginning of his career in 1992. He is the first teacher of political cartooning in Pakistan as well as seeking opportunities to teach this new style to others.
