PESHAWAR, Pakistan: Tourism Corporation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (TCKP) in collaboration with Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA) Islamabad on Friday announced to hold a visual art exhibition to promote work of KPK artists.
Chairing a meeting in Peshawar, the Managing Director TCKP Mushtaq Ahmad Khan said that the exhibition would be held in PNCA Islamabad from April 5 to 9. He said that event was meant to promote work of KPK artists in the world.
Mushtaq Ahmad said that more than 200 work-pieces of 35 senior and junior artists would be displayed in the exhibition.
The Managing Director TCKP informed that 74 paintings of Irshad Zameel depicting life of Buddha would be part of the exhibition besides master pieces of Tayyaba Aziz, Ajab Khan, Liaqat Ali, Late Haji Adeel, Late Nasir Uddin, Resham Khan, Ahsan Zeb, Nighat Humaun, Gulnaz Dilawar, Ali Sajid Pir Hamid, Fatima Amin, Zakir Khan and Imran Khan.
Moreover, he said that afterwards exhibitions would also be held in Karachi and Lahore providing KPK artists a chance to enlighten country regarding their work and contributions.
