ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage Lok Virsa has announced to organize a third session of the series “Muzakra” on March 30 at the Faiz Heritage Library in Islamabad.

Talking to the state-run news agency, an official of Lok Virsa said that “Muzakra” is an interactive literary series which brings to fore the many facets of literature, it’s manifestations in our society and especially discuss gems from Lok Virsa’s Faiz Heritage Library – such as manuscripts, journals, books and other rare literature which are found exclusively at the Faiz Heritage Library.

It is a bi-monthly programme in which our guest speakers will bring their literary works to Faiz Heritage Library and engage with audience to explore, elaborate and critique.

The speakers will put a spotlight on the “Feminist Voices” of our Country, the wide gulf which continues to exist in gender roles and the heroes who have fought to bring a balance.

The discussion will be led by the most prominent feminist voices of our time Kishwar Naheed, Farzana Bari and Haris Khalique.
