The Nida Azwer Atelier set to showcase “The Iznik Collection” at PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2015

LAHORE, Pakistan: Following the acclaimed success of the “French Trellis Collection” at Telenor Fashion Pakistan Week, the Nida Azwer Atelier gears up for PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2015[#PSFW14] with their Luxury/Prêt “The Iznik Collection”,  showcasing on April 19, 2015.

Drawing inspiration from Iznik and Persian ceramic patterns, “The Iznik Collection” welcomes a summer aesthetic full of florals and geometric elements. The collection also embraces the use of animal motifs such as birds and deer, seen in Persian pottery. The collection is based in hues of blue and teal with hints of saffron and is embellished with fine silk thread work, crystal and zardozi in luxe fabrics such as silks, cotton net and net. For this collection, the Atelier has focused on structured construction across summer jackets, pants and tops along with flowy silhouettes.

“In line with our focus on the revival of traditional art and craft through our work, The Iznik Collection is another endeavor to highlight and promote indigenous artisanship and design elements within a modern context. This collection is based in a vibrant colour palette,a marked change from our recent collection showcase at TFPW. It has always has been a memorable experience participating at PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week and we look forward to our showcase this year in Lahore,” the Creative Director at the Nida Azwer Atelier Nida Azwer said while speaking about her upcoming showcase at PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week.
