KARACHI: The coveted House of Sania Maskatiya is pleased to announce an exciting collaboration with one of Pakistan’s leading manufacturers of premium textile products Alkaram for 2015 and 2016.

For the collaboration, Sania Maskatiya and Alkaram will be introducing a diverse range of new collections for Spring/Summer, Lawn and Autumn/Winter seasons, in addition to introducing an exclusive ready to wear capsule collection every month.

The collaboration is a manifestation of Sania Maskatiya’s and Alkaram’s commitment to provide their discerning patrons with premium quality designs and fabrics at affordable prices.

Through the collaboration, we endeavour to merge Sania Maskatiya’s contemporary design aesthetics with our premium textiles and fabrics to provide a unique fashion experience to the Pakistani consumer. We look forward to working with Sania Maskatiya on our new exclusive Ready To Wear lines for Alkaram Studio,” the CEO Alkaram Studio Abid Umer said on the collaboration with Sania Maskatiya.

It’s a very exciting opportunity for our brand to work with one of Pakistan’s leading textile houses and we look forward to synergising our mutual strengths to the benefit of Pakistani fashionistas nationwide. Through this partnership, we look forward to enhancing the accessibility of the Sania Maskatiya brand even further,” fashion designer Sania Maskatiya said on her association with Alkaram.

The team at Sania Maskatiya is led by creative design head Sania Maskatiya and Business Partner and Director Umair Tabani.

Since its inception in 2010, the Sania Maskatiya label has grown to encompass four stores; two of which are located in prime shopping locations in Karachi and one in Lahore and most recently a store within a store in Dubai.

The brand also showcased ‘Ara-ornament’ at the PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week and had its apparel featured on the cover of Cosmopolitan India’s latest issue where a leading Indian media personality could be seen wearing a Sania Maskatiya ‘Sakura’ top as showcased at Lakmé Fashion Week 2014.

Sania herself currently serves as a member of the Fashion Pakistan Council board and is also appointed as a member of the Executive Committee for the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture.
