ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Capital Club is holding Pakistan Fashion Expo (PFE) here on February 27 and 28 featuring the haute couture to support fashion industry in the federal capital.

PFE is an internationally cultured runway exposition produced by Capital Club and Team PFE. Celebrating their season of runway shows, PFE is launching its movement in Islamabad, showcasing established designers, brands and rising icons in the fashion industry, said the organizers.

PFE attracts hundreds of guests in its various seasons featuring glamour, style, elegance and dazzle of upcoming fashions hitting the ramps.

Islamabad fashion elite are ready to converge western world for the premier fashion event that promises a grand celebration of Islamabad’s finest fashion creations.

The spectacular fashion extravaganza PFE has an esteemed line-up from Pakistan to capture the attention of fashion lovers of twin cities and introduce the concept of haute couture by providing opportunity to established and upcoming designers, models, choreographers, fashion writers and photographers.

The event will showcase leading brands as well as pret designers to an audience comprising both the international and local buyers. The participants will showcase their latest collection at the show, seeking to forge local partnerships and franchise outlets in Pakistan.

“Fashion events are a perfect way to showcase and promote textiles, casual and formal wear, leather, footwear, and other fashion-related products in local and international markets,” said the organizers.

Punjab Highway Patrol releases annual performance report for 2024 Lahore, Pakistan: Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP) has released annual performance report for 2024 that shows promising working under the leadership of Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr Usman Anwar. According to details, in the year 2024, PHP checked 31.4 million people on the highways across Punjab through e-Police Post App and arrested 6,537 proclaimed offenders/judicial fugitives. Punjab Highway Patrol checked 18.8 million vehicles with the help of modern technology and also recovered 3,350 stolen vehicles/motorcycles. Legal action was taken against 869,000 overloaded vehicles for axle load violation. Legal action was taken against more than 12,000 vehicles across Punjab for illegal use of gas cylinders. In view of the convenience of the citizens, last year, PHP issued 148,000 driving licenses - 678 missing children were reunited with their parents. 5,005 temporary and permanent encroachments were removed and traffic flow was improved. More than 112,000 passengers facing difficulties on the roads across Punjab were provided with various types of assistance and guidance. 119,000 citizens were provided with various types of assistance and guidance at Police Khidmat Markazes. 1,093 cases were registered for the use of illegal weapons. 20,925 liters of alcohol, 400 kilograms of hashish, 53 kilograms of opium and 5.5 kilograms of heroin were recovered from drug peddlers.
