Nida Azwer Atelier to showcase “The Renaissance Collection” at Fashion Pakistan Week 2014

KARACHI: Following the atelier’s showcase of its bridal collection titled The Ghalib Collection at PFDC L’Oreal Paris Bridal Week 2014, the Nida Azwer Atelier brings to the runway their new pret a porter collection titled “The Renaissance Collection” at Fashion Pakistan Week on November 27 in Karachi.

As its name suggests, “The Renaissance Collection” draws inspiration from the renaissance period of grandeur and royalty.

The new collection for women features a fusion of eastern and western wear which is manifested through lehngas and saris with jackets and crop tops in deep rich hues of reds, maroons, rust, black and greys. Expect a variety of luxe fabrics including velvets, silks, lace, nets, suiting fabrics and chiffon embellished with digital embroidery, digital and screen prints, emboss printing, hand embellishments and laser cutting.

“We take part in all fashion weeks in Pakistan and wholeheartedly support the industry’s efforts to promote the Pakistani fashion industry and talent. Our label’s latest collection is made specifically for the winter season and features a lot of constructed silhouettes, including shirts with short hemlines and lehngas paired with crop tops. The collection has been specifically designed for the upcoming festive season where the outfits can be worn as separates or as complete ensembles for dinners, parties and weddings,”Nida Azwer said while speaking about her collection for the Fashion Pakistan Week.
