MARIA.B. announces launch of new lawn collection

LAHORE, Pakistan: The leading designer label MARIA.B. has announced the launch of the brand’s new lawn collection, MARIA.B. Lawn 2015 by Reshma Tex.

With renowned TV personalities Urwa and Mawra Hocane as the face of the brand’s Lawn campaign this year, MARIA.B. Lawn 2015 will be available nationally at all MARIA.B. outlets and leading retailers across Pakistan, and internationally through the brand’s global retail partners and e-portal www.mariab.pk later this month.

This year MARIA.B. has taken creativity in designer lawn a step further with cutting edge embroideries and innovative designs that take inspiration from vintage French embroidery and Greek emblems and damasks. The design work also incorporates elements from Mughal artwork, traditional Lakhnavi prints and Indian Chikankari.

The collection features prints on Egyptian Giza Lawn, embroidered lawn and jaquard Lawn across 15 distinct designs in 3 piece suits and kurtis. The Lawn is based in a vibrant colour palette of spring colors, funky hues, pastels, beiges and greys and has been embellished with sequins laces and embroidered borders. All suits in the MARIA.B. Lawn 2015 will be accompanied by digitally printed dupattas, printed pure silk and pure silk chiffon and will retail between PKR 2,900 – PKR 6,390.

“After the success of our Arabi Lawn collection last year, we have been really looking forward to further enhancing the designer Lawn experience for our patrons! MARIA.B. Lawn 2015 consists of diverse designs and colours which we feel will provide a new look to our fashion savvy customers. Our design work and prints are inspired by motifs and patterns from centuries-old civilizations providing a fusion of cultures and adding a timeless element to the designs. We were also very selective about the fabrics we chose. We wanted fabrics of the finest quality to complement our designs and give our lawn the kind of quality that our customers expect from the brand,” the CEO MARIA.B. Maria Butt said while speaking about the brand’s new Lawn campaign.
