LAHORE, Pakistan: Label.m – a premium hair care brand and official partner of London Fashion Week, has hosted an exclusive styling workshop on Thursday at the X2 Café in Lahore.

The event, which was the first of its kind for the brand, had two of its most prominent faces flown in from UK. Gary France, International Educational Director and Max Lamparter, International Ambassador conducted the workshop aimed at educating the local stylist community about international trends and how they can be incorporated into the local fashion landscape.

The event was part of label.m’s global ‘We Are Two’ campaign which they launched in Pakistan for the first time ever. The campaign focuses on global diversity and inclusion and is about bringing people together, building and maintaining relationships.

According to Max, “the We Are Two campaign seeks to inspire hairdressers on the latest trends and techniques through innovative product use and choices. In regards to our visit to Lahore, We Are Two is about connecting in a closer way with stylists around Pakistan and making them enjoy the way various products appeal to their clients.”

The event was preceded by a three day salon activity in which 12 lifestyle journalists were invited for an exclusive label.m experience. RedahMisbah, Shammal Qureshi and Juju Haider, the three style mavens were on hand to provide consultations to these journalists. Using the most advanced colour and cutting techniques, each guest was transformed, with a full make-up application afterwards to top it all off.

Out of the 12, four journalists were shortlisted by the label.m team who were then styled live by Gary and Max. The styling was done on the basis of international trends while staying true to the aesthetics and personality of each blogger.  The ace stylists also interacted with the guests, educating and answering their queries about latest style trends, techniques and the effective use of label.m products in terms of their hair texture.

Gary, while sharing his experience of working with the Pakistani audience said, “I personally love the Pakistani quality of hair and it was a new experience for me to work with so many different hair textures.”
