Adnan Pardesy to showcase label’s innovative bridal couture at Qatar International Fashion Fiesta

KARACHI, Pakistan: The acclaimed couturier Adnan Pardesy is all set to showcase his latest bridal collection at the prestigious Qatar International Fashion Fiesta on March 19.

The Qatar International Fashion Fiesta will be followed by an exhibition at the same venue on March 20.

The collection is a blend of two themes, the first of which is based on the enduring legacy of traditional Indo-Pak embellishments and the second that takes inspiration from architecture and abstract art.

The bridal collection will feature women’s wear including short shirts, voluminous skirts, capri trousers, sheer fabrics and menswear including sherwanis, Nehru jackets and kurtas embellished with intricate hand embroidery. The bridal collection amalgamates traditional Chatapatti and riots of colors fused with modern motifs on gold organza. The collection is based on luxe fabrics such as crepes, net silk chiffons, jamawaar, organza, tissue and fine silk fabric.

“We are thrilled to participate at the Qatar International Fashion Fiesta. It is an excellent opportunity for Asian designers to showcase their design work and craft to the Middle Eastern market. Taking part in credible Fashion platforms such as QIFF allows us to increase exposure of our brand to a wider audience, which will definitely result in greater opportunities for our label to grow. We always love to promote the culture of Pakistan and for that we have put forward a new bridal collection which represents the colours of subcontinent along with intricate embroidery and embellishments,” the designer Adnan Pardesy said while speaking about his participation at the Qatar International Fashion Fiesta.
