They always catch the attention of visitors or worshippers entering the beloved Mosque of the Prophet, peace be upon him, for their beauty and precision in craftsmanship.

Each door has a width of 3 meters, a height of 6 meters, and a thickness of over 13 centimeters.

The weight of each door is one and a quarter ton, and it can be opened and closed with one hand due to the special hinge’s flexibility in the opening and closing process.

The doors of the Prophet’s Mosque have names and numbers to help visitors identify the doors they entered through, facilitating their movement when exiting towards their place of residence.

The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has designated monitors to open the doors and the roof of the Prophet’s Mosque 24 hours a day, and to prevent the entry of food and large bags to ensure a safe environment for worshippers.
