Breaking News! Atlas Honda Strikes Again with Motorcycle Price Hike: Latest Prices Revealed!

Hold onto your helmets, folks, as we bring you the freshest update from the motorcycle world. Atlas Honda has just raised the prices of their motorcycles, effective from August 5, 2023. The much-loved Honda CD-70, Dream 70 variant, Pridor, CG-125, CB-125F, and CB-150F are all affected by this surge.

Here’s the lowdown on the new price tags: The Honda CD-70 has hit Rs. 157,900 after a Rs. 3,000 increase. Meanwhile, the Honda Dream 70 variant will now set you back Rs. 168,900, and the Honda Pridor model has settled at Rs. 208,900, following a significant hike of Rs. 5,000.

Not to be left out, the Honda CG-125, CG-150F, and CB-125F have seen price adjustments too, reaching Rs. 234,900, Rs. 493,900, and Rs. 390,900, respectively. So the price of Honda 125 in Pakistan is again increased by Atlas Honda.

The company last raised its prices a month ago, leaving local bike dealers like Ahmed puzzled. Speaking to DND, Ahmed revealed that the company did not give any reason for the price hike. However, bike assembler companies in Pakistan have frequently been passing on the impact of the rising cost of production due to the rupee’s depreciation against the dollar and high freight rates to consumers.

Punjab Highway Patrol releases annual performance report for 2024 Lahore, Pakistan: Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP) has released annual performance report for 2024 that shows promising working under the leadership of Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr Usman Anwar. According to details, in the year 2024, PHP checked 31.4 million people on the highways across Punjab through e-Police Post App and arrested 6,537 proclaimed offenders/judicial fugitives. Punjab Highway Patrol checked 18.8 million vehicles with the help of modern technology and also recovered 3,350 stolen vehicles/motorcycles. Legal action was taken against 869,000 overloaded vehicles for axle load violation. Legal action was taken against more than 12,000 vehicles across Punjab for illegal use of gas cylinders. In view of the convenience of the citizens, last year, PHP issued 148,000 driving licenses - 678 missing children were reunited with their parents. 5,005 temporary and permanent encroachments were removed and traffic flow was improved. More than 112,000 passengers facing difficulties on the roads across Punjab were provided with various types of assistance and guidance. 119,000 citizens were provided with various types of assistance and guidance at Police Khidmat Markazes. 1,093 cases were registered for the use of illegal weapons. 20,925 liters of alcohol, 400 kilograms of hashish, 53 kilograms of opium and 5.5 kilograms of heroin were recovered from drug peddlers.
