PESHAWAR: A cultural show was organized by the culture directorate Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in collaboration with the Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA) at Nishtar hall in Peshawar.

The director general PNCA Mashood Ahmed Mirza was the chief guest on the occasion.

During the show, popular folk singers Zarsanga, Nida Faiz – a famous singer from Lahore – Wagma, Gulraiz Tabassum, Ashraf Gulzar, and Wisal Khayal sang popular numbers while Ejaz Sarhadi and Gulab Afridi gave solo performance at Sarinda and Rabab instruments.

Nida Faiz stole the show by singing popular numbers of Faiz Ahmed Faiz and also sang some other Urdu ghazals as well as folk songs and received applause from the audience.
