Astana, Kazakhstan: Kazakhstan has introduced new Visa Regime from today July 1, 2018.

According to the Press Service of Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the time for the submission of invitations to enter the Republic of Kazakhstan for foreigners have been shortened to 5 working days prior to the expected date of entry of the recipient of visas into the Republic of Kazakhstan. Earlier this term was 14 days.

The deadline for submitting documents for the extension of the valid visa has also been changed. Now, applications are directed to submit visa extension application not earlier than thirty working days and no later than five working days before the end of the validity of the valid visa (Expiration of Visa).

It is pertinent to mention that invitation letter for Visa must specify the address of the foreigner’s residence during his stay in Kazakhstan and the route of travel, “the message says. As noted, one of the fields of the invitation is indicated the code of the classifier of the administrative and territorial object (KATO), which corresponds to a certain locality of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The presence of a Kazakhstan visa exempts a foreigner from the need to register with the migration authorities.
