ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Mushaal Hussein Mullick, the wife of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chairman Yasin Malik, has come down hard on the world criminal silence over the biased and unfair trial of her husband by the judge in TADA Court in Jammu.
In her video message on Friday, the Chairperson Peace and Culture Organisation said that Yasin Malik decided to go on a “FAST UNTO DEATH” from April 1, 2020 against the authoritarian attitude and dishonouring of the 1994 ceasefire pledge by the Indian government.
Mushaal Hussein Mullick lashed out at the human right organizations and international communities who, she said, is playing the role of deaf and dumb in the face of the continued lockdown and mounting human rights violations in the occupied valley.
Mushaal said that Yasin Malik put his life at stake for the greater cause of freedom of Kashmir nation through a peaceful negotiated resolution of the long-pending Kashmir dispute.
However, despite his peaceful and non-violence efforts, he was caged in infamous Tihar Jail for the last around 11 months in 30-year-old concocted militancy related cases.
The Chairperson Peace and Culture Organisation lamented that he along with hundreds of members was detained under Black Law, the Public Safety Act (PSA) and were being tortured mercilessly.
She deplored that the judge in TADA Court in Jammu was even not ready to listen to him, and was behaving like a prosecuting or police officer.
Mushaal further said that the beloved Kashmir leader was denied justice and given decision against him in politically-motivated cases without listening to him; however, she added that even then the so-called human right organizations, UN bodies, and world powers tied their lips and didn’t utter a word against this historic injustice and discrimination.
Owing to these unabated injustices, Yasin Malik took an extreme step of preferring an honorable death instead of disgraceful life, she added.
Mushaal said that her husband pledged to donate all his vital organs to the needy ones, who had been facing repression of brutal Indian forces in death cell for the last about one year.
The Chairperson regretted that such a brave and great Kashmir leader was battling for life in death cell for his sole sin to fight for breaking the shackles of Indian slavery, who she said that decided not to surrender to the Indian tyranny and brutalities come what may.
Mushaal Hussein Mullick warned that millions of Kashmiri people would be taken onto roads and streets if Yasin Malik was martyred, who devoted his whole life for the cause of Kashmir freedom.
Mushaal said that it is high time the world community should come out of hibernation and sweet slumber and pressed the notorious Narendra Modi-led government to ensure the honourable release of all Kashmiri prisoners including her husband and resolution of decades-long Kashmir dispute as per the UNSC resolutions.
