  • Urges all Kashmiris to firmly support her father, who dedicates entire life to Kashmir cause
  • Says giving death sentence to a symbol of resistance stigma on Indian democratic face

ISLAMABAD: Razia Sultan, daughter of a senior Huriyat Leader, Yasin Malik appealed to the United Nations, all the International Human Rights Organisations, world community and people of Kashmir to force notorious Indian government to put an end to her father death sentence, who was a symbol of resistance and believed in peaceful struggle for the cause of Kashmir.

In her historic address to a Special Session at Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Assembly in Muzaffarabad, Razia Sultan urged the international community and world power to make it possible for her to meet her father, as she met him nine year ago.

Razia Sultan said that she was daughter of Yasin Malik and a daughter of Kashmir, therefore, she requested on behalf of her father’s dedication for the Kashmir cause, to raise the voice against this injustice of sentencing him with a death penalty.

“I dedicate my entire life to the cause of Kashmir,” she added.

Razia Sultan stated that Yasin Malik was renowned globally as a symbol of resistance against a mighty army, who was shackled by the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a cell, where he was sentenced to death.

She went on to say that Yasin Malik, who, sacrificed everything; including health, family, wealth, for the sole purpose of freedom for the Kashmiris.

“I was only two years old, when I met my father. Now, I have turned 11. I miss my father like anything. Our family is incomplete, without him. I crave to listen to his voice,” she maintained.

Razia Sultan vowed that she would like to take this opportunity to send a message to Narendra Modi, from Muzaffarabad that her father was a beacon of light for the cause of Kashmir.

She went on to say that this death sentence was a measure to bring down his courage and determination to the Kashmir cause. “Let it serve as a reminder that the Kashmiri nationalism stands beside my father. I pray to Allah SWT, to bless my father with longevity,” she added.

Razia Sultan expressed optimism that she was hopeful in the mercy of Allah that her father would be released from this fake-case, and would be amongst them, soon. “In Sha Allah. I would love to meet my father and spend quality time with him,” she added.

She stated that it was now a high time, when all Kashmiri nationalists must support her father, as he dedicated his entire life to the cause of Kashmir.

“My father also gave precedence to the Kashmir resistance over his family. Today, let my voice carry this message for Modi, that if my father is harmed in any way; I will blame you,” Yasin daughter warned Modi. She asked that how can such measures be considered as a democratic act, in a democratic and secular Republic like India, adding that giving a death sentence to Yasin Malik was a stigma on the face of democratic India.

She expressed her concerns over the notorious occupied authorizes’ attempts to introduce demographic changes and turning the occupied valley into a military garrison coupled with ongoing worst human rights violations.

However, she made it clear that the brutal Indian forces could not silent the powerful dissenting voices in the valley.

Speaker AJK assembly at the end directed Kashmir Libration Cell to forward speech of Razia Sultana to all concern people and departments around the World.
