DHAKA, Bangladesh: Just like around the world, the Kashmir Solidarity Day was also observed in Dhaka wherein the Indian atrocities were highlighted and the International Community was stressed upon to play its due role in mitigating the plight of oppressed Kashmiris.
To mark the day, a protest was organized by a Civil Society in front of the Dhaka Press Club attended by a large number of people.
The protesters were carrying banners and posters inscribed with anti-India slogans, and slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) government for committing unprecedented human rights violations in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
In their remarks, the speakers demanded freedom and justice for Kashmir. They also condemned Indian state terrorism and atrocities in Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IOJ&K) and expressed solidarity with Kashmiri Muslims.
The Kashmir Solidarity Day was observed on Wednesday (February 5) to reiterate the wholehearted support to the just struggle of Kashmiri people for their inalienable right to self-determination under the United Nations resolutions
In that regard, various events related to the day were organized around the globe including in Oslo, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Dushanbe, Kyiv, London, Tokyo, Geneva, Herat, Kathmandu, Tehran, Istanbul, and Ottawa etc.
