KashmirPM AJK meets COAS, discusses IIOJK & LoC situation

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi met the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

During the meeting, the situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) including continued Indian unilateralism in IIOJK and the situation along the Line of Control (LOC) were discussed.

The COAS paid tribute to Syed Ali Geelani for his historical and selfless struggle for Kashmiris’ right to self-determination.

The Army Chief assured the AJK prime minister of the Pakistan army’s full support and commitment to the Kashmir cause and the people of Kashmir.

General Qamar Javed Bajwa also congratulated the AJK prime minister on the assumption of his new appointment and expressed his best wishes for the prosperity of the region of Kashmir.

The AJK Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi appreciated the Pakistan army’s contribution towards security and development in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
