KashmirNA Speaker Pervez Ashraf visits Mushaal Mullick to express solidarity

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Speaker of the National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf paid a visit to Mushaal Hussein Mullick, the wife of Hurriyat Leader Yasin Malik who was awarded a life sentence by an Indian court in a fabricated terrorism funding case.

Speaker while expressing solidarity with Yasin Malik’s family, the Speaker strongly condemned the abhorrent attempt of the Indian government on his reprehensible life sentence, denial of fair trial & violation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and International Covenant on Civil & Political Rights.

Raja Pervez Ashraf assured Pakistan’s all-out support and urged the international community to counsel India for his immediate release.

The Speaker urged the Indian government to arrange a meeting of Yasin Malik with his spouse Mushaal Mullick and daughter as it is against human rights to prevent a family from meeting their family member.
